At Russellville, down south of Crawfordsville, Halloween pranksters killed man. That may be a blunt way to put it, but it’s the truth.  In a perverted effort to make fun, somebody soaked a sackful of leaves in kerosene, lit it and threw it on the front porch of the home of the village banker, Romulus Boyd. Mr. Boyd, who was 82 years old, saw the flames through his widow. He was so startled and frightened that he suffered a sudden heart attack and died even before the flames did. Some people have strange ideas about what is fun. - kbz
